In 2011,the business scale and economic benefits of China National Building Material Group increased significantly,with total assets of 210.6 billion yuan,operating income of 191.8 billion yuan,an increase of 42%over the previous year,profit of 14.1 billion yuan,an increase of 87%over the previous year,and net profit of 10.7 billion yuan.

Among them,in the glass business,the first batch of 0.5mm ultra-thin TFT LCD glass substrate products produced by China Building Material Group passed the batch certification,the new line of ITO conductive film glass was put into production one after another,and the domestic leading conductive film glass and sensor for capacitive touch screen were successfully developed.

China National Building Material Group actively promotes the production capacity planning of 2 billion square meters of gypsum board,and the national share of gypsum board has exceeded 50%.It has made remarkable achievements in building a new housing platform and implementing the livelihood project of"housing to the countryside".It has made great technological breakthroughs in wind turbine blades,carbon fiber and glass fiber,among which the domestic market share of carbon fiber has reached more than 70%.The"three new"industries of new building materials,new housing and new energy materials have achieved rapid development.

CNBM Group has further strengthened scientific and technological innovation and collaboration between production and research,fully completed the"11th Five-Year Plan"National Science and Technology Support Plan projects,implemented 38 new national"12th Five-Year Plan"science and technology projects,steadily increased the number of patents,achieved remarkable results in scientific research transformation,won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award for two scientific and technological achievements,and applied many technologies in"Tiangong-1"and"Shenzhou-8"spacecraft.
