The preparation process of starch type sizing agent is more complicated than that of enhanced type sizing agent. The preparation of the enhanced sizing agent is only the mixing process after the water dispersion of various materials; while the starch-type sizing agent also includes oil emulsification and starch cooking processes. 1. Preparation of enhanced sizing agent Add half of the amount of water in the sizing agent preparation kettle, adjust the pH value of 3 to 4 with glacial acetic acid, start stirring at a stirring speed of 50r/min, slowly add the coupling agent in a linear shape, and then Stir for 45 minutes, until the solution becomes clear and transparent, and there is no oil on the surface. Put the lubricant to be heated to dissolve into a premixed kettle with a steam jacket, add water and start stirring (200r/min) to heat to 65-70°C, after fully dissolving, cool to below 45°C, and add someone to prepare the kettle. Then add various film-forming agent emulsions (150-200r/min) into the preparation kettle under stirring. Add deionized water to the specified amount and adjust the pH to 5-7. Finally, take samples and measure the solid content and stability of the infiltrant. 2. Preparation of starch-type sizing agent The preparation equipment and process flow of starch-type sizing agent are shown in Figure 2-5. Emulsify the components to be emulsified in a high-speed emulsification kettle, that is, heat and melt hydrogenated vegetable oil, microcrystalline wax, Tween, surfactants, etc., at 65-75°C and stirring speed>1500r/min. Add water to emulsify. Add water to dissolve the lubricant and other components that need to be heated to dissolve in a premixed kettle with a steam jacket. The starch is cooked and gelatinized in a temperature-controlled preparation kettle into a high-pressure jet cooker. Then add emulsifiers, lubricants, etc. to the kettle, add water to the specified amount, and keep the temperature at 60°C.
