The total investment of the pilot project is 55 million yuan, all of which are raised by the enterprise. Utilizing the existing land of the company's special fiber plant, a new melting furnace production line and product testing center will be built. At present, the kiln design of the project has been completed, the civil construction of the plant has been completed, and the equipment has been selected. It is expected to ignite in May 2018. After completion, it will be able to produce 2 tons of continuous basalt fiber per day, which will lay a solid technical foundation for the industrial production of continuous basalt fiber with an annual output of 10,000 tons and 60,000 tons of P fiber in the tank kiln.
